“There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.”“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction” (Proverbs 1:7). Though we may fear the Lord in the beginning, it is not the end of our spiritual quest, for “perfect love casts out fear.” Jesus perfect love casts out our fears when He embraces us as His friends (John 15:13, 14).
